Martin was awarded Fellow status by the Institute of Fire Prevention Officers (IFPO) EC, following the 41st AGM.

The meeting was held at the Mudlark conference suite, on the Southbank London.

Martin was awarded the prestigious Fellow status for his continued professionalism and dedication to the fire sector over many years by the EC on 21st November 2017.

Martin is an Executive Council member, Chairman of the FRAR and represents the IFPO at the Fire Sector Federation (FSF) Competency group.
