Martin continues to represent the IFPO at the IRG4 and Fire Sector Federation meetings, responding to Dame Judith Hackitt recommedations following the Grenfell fire tragedy.
DJH recommedations were fully endorsed by Government in December 2018.
Positive progress todate has considered the roles of Fire Managers, Fire Risk Assessors, bodies managing FRA Registers and other resilience and competency challanges.
In addition to representing members of the IFPO generally SME’s, Martin is the link between IRG4 and the National Association of Healthcare Fire Officers. Martin has been invited to present an update at this years NAHFO annual conference focusing upon fire risk assessment register competency.
